Regent University School of Law Appoints Brad Jacob as Associate Dean for Online Programs
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (July 1, 2020) – Regent University School of Law is pleased to announce Bradley P. Jacob, J.D., as associate dean for online programs. In his new role, Jacob will oversee online programs including the Master of Arts in Law and the Master of Arts in Financial Planning and Law.

The associate dean for online programs will be responsible for current and future distance-education programs in the Regent University School of Law. He will supervise overall curriculum structure and concentrations; oversee the creation of new courses and revision of existing courses as needed; hire and assign adjunct faculty; oversee, train, evaluate, and equip faculty; develop and communicate various academic policies and pedagogical best practices; respond to student petitions for course substitutions, academic policy variance, and grade appeals; and work with university marketing, enrollment, and advising for online students.

Jacob is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School who joined the Regent Law faculty in 2001 as an associate professor. His teaching expertise includes Constitutional Law, Foundations of Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Nonprofit Tax-Exempt Organizations. Before coming to Regent, Jacob served as: Founding provost and dean of Patrick Henry College (1998-2000); executive director/CEO of the Christian Legal Society (1991-93); associate dean of the proposed School of Law at Geneva College (1993-98); staff attorney in the Center for Law & Religious Freedom (1988?91); and director of the Justice Fellowship Policy Institute at Prison Fellowship Ministries (2000-01).
