Hurricane Florence Update Friday, September 14 | Campus Closed

CAMPUS UPDATE – While the major force of Hurricane Florence has not impacted Hampton Roads directly, rain gusts and heavy winds are still probable for the area. University Officials advise students to remain off campus until further notice. Campus remains closed and all activities, hosted by Regent or outside organizations, are canceled. Updates about Regent’s operating schedule and the all-clear for students to return to their dorms will be made as soon as possible tomorrow morning (9/15).

Students who have chosen to remain at Founders Inn for the duration of the storm are safe and accounted for – a special thanks to The Founders Inn and Spa for their hospitality during this time. Commuter students and those who have evacuated are reminded to use caution as they make plans to return to campus.
