Prerequisites:

Applicants must:

  • Hold a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution, as evaluated by a credential evaluating agency.

3. Provide Your Unofficial College Transcripts

We require an official transcript indicating successful completion of a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree program. If you have an unofficial copy of your college transcripts, please email those to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: SBL Certificate Application Pieces.

Non-U.S. transcripts must be evaluated by an NACES-approved company. For further details, please review the International Admissions Checklist on the International Students Admissions page.

International Applicants: Please visit the International Students Admissions page for a more detailed explanation of the Regent University application information and to determine whether or not you qualify as an international student.

*Upon conditional acceptance to the program by review of unofficial transcripts, Regent University’s Admissions Office will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institutions, which indicate successful completion of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. We will notify you if your previous institutions will not release transcripts directly to us.

4. Complete Your Admissions Questionnaire

Please complete a brief admissions questionnaire based on your professional goals and interests. This should only take a few minutes to complete but please answer the questions completely and thoughtfully. This gives us a better opportunity to get to know you and align your objectives with our programs.

“The MBA program at Regent challenged me to think beyond the mechanics of business. I was able to address work-life balance and focus on core personal leadership attributes such as building and maintaining trust, clearly defining intended outcomes, and communicating a positive and productive vision for the future despite accelerating change and uncertainty in the environment. Regent’s strong academics and values-based leadership focus helped move me from sales to management almost immediately.”

Jonathan Freeland, MBA, 2000 VP, Product Marketing at Cox Communications

“I was particularly impressed with the highly organized online Ph.D. program. The faculty is second to none when it comes to their intelligence, teaching ability, compassion and their desire to work with students.”

“This isn't just a job for me — this is a ministry. Whatever I've done at Regent I've always had the sense that this is what God has called me to do.”

Doris Gomez, Ph.D. Dean, Regent University's School of Business & Leadership

“As a Christian business leader, I regularly use my military experience and Regent education to lead others into a comprehensive vision. I've learned a lot about innovation and organizatioanl culture that fuel my daily work and desire to coach and mentor others to fulfill their God-given purpose.”

Thom Owens, Ph. D., 2013 Owner, Commercial Realty Business

“Two common obstacles preventing people from reaching their dreams are fear and listening to naysayers. Regent helped me develop my calling and credentials so that I can help people move past both to achieve a positive life change.”
